Bloom for whom ye may

Here I just post things that I like or that are related to what I am most infatuated with at the moment. My crafting blog is probably more interesting. Link below.

Shoot, I’m up. Let’s do this now.

Here is a picture of the fail shirt. I mainly took pictures to put on Facebook because my friends always say, “Oh Carmen, all your shirts turn out so well!” and I tell them that only the good results get put up, duh. So now I can prove it. This shirt didn’t turn out well. First, I made holes in it with the iron. Then, (for whatever reason, I chose to go ahead with the bleaching) it DIDN’T BLEACH. You win some, you lose some. That’s why I pay $1-$3 for shirts.

Next up, I drew a self portrait. I used one of my favorite pictures of myself. I drew it on the cover of a journal/art diary thing (that I made by hand). An important thing to note here is, I can not draw. This is why my head is a little too big, my hands are deformed, and I have no face. I tried, but, I just can’t do that to myself. Aside from that, I’m not even really sure how it turned out as well as it did.

Finally, a little bit of art from inside the journal. Also, from another post.

Here are a few of my pictures of the eclipse. IT WAS AWESOME. I taped a little piece of aluminized mylar over my camera lens.

GUYS! This is where the moon is right now!! It’ll be slowly moving closer and closer to the sun today, and eventually will eclipse it. Out here in the west we have about 2 hours to watch the moon move across the sun. Don’t miss it!

So my camera took this awesome picture. No telescope involved.
