Bloom for whom ye may

Here I just post things that I like or that are related to what I am most infatuated with at the moment. My crafting blog is probably more interesting. Link below.

So, somebody broke into my car last night, and the more I think about it, the more I worry. See, I left nothing on my seats or anywhere visible to prompt a break in. I never leave valuables in my car. At first I thought maybe I accidentally left my iPod on the seat and someone thought it was an iPhone, but I didn’t. I have it, and all of my valuables (which are only worth anything to me btw) still in my possession. They were all in my house.

They took nothing. I did have a trunkful of stuff. None of it worth much, but you’d think after the effort of breaking in they’d grab something. The more I look, the more I see, they didn’t even go through anything. All of the crap on the passenger side floor is exactly how I left it, as was everything in the trunk (which is no longer in the trunk). Maybe if I keep thinking I’ll realize something’s missing, but I really don’t think anything is.

Why break into a ratty 13 year old car that doesn’t visibly have anything of value in it?

Maybe something scared them off before they got a chance to search for anything. I can’t figure it out. All I know is, I can’t afford for that to happen again. I’m considering leaving my doors unlocked. It cost $150 to replace my window. That’s a lot of money to me. I’d much rather someone just let himself in and look through my car to see there isn’t anything of value than break my window to do it. I guess then I have the problem of someone trying to steal my car. Agh. I don’t know what to do. Stop sucking, people.
